Leadar, Inc. ("Leadar", "we", "us") provides a B2B software platform for map-based lead discovery, CRM, AI-assisted messaging, and WhatsApp Business integration. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices when you use our website and application at leadar-ai.com and related services (the "Service").
1. Who we are
The data controller for the Service is Leadar, Inc. If you have questions about this policy or your data, contact us at privacy@leadar-ai.com.
This policy applies to business users who register an organization on Leadar. If you use Leadar on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to accept this policy for that organization.
2. Scope
This policy covers personal and business information processed when you create an account, use Leadar features, connect WhatsApp or email channels, or visit our marketing site.
It does not cover third-party services you connect to Leadar (such as Meta WhatsApp Business Platform or payment providers), which have their own privacy policies.
3. Information we collect
Account and organization data: name, work email address, organization name, team membership, billing details processed by our payment provider, and authentication logs.
CRM and prospecting data: contact names, phone numbers, email addresses, company names, tags, notes, imported lists, map search results, and AI-generated scores or message drafts that you or your team create in the Service.
WhatsApp and messaging data: when you connect WhatsApp via Meta Embedded Signup, we store connection metadata (such as WhatsApp Business Account ID, phone number ID, and encrypted access tokens), message content sent and received through Leadar, delivery status, templates, and conversation history for inbox and campaign features.
Usage and technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, feature usage, error logs, and cookies or similar technologies needed to operate and secure the Service.
AI processing: prompts, knowledge-base content you provide, and generated text used for lead scoring, cold messages, campaign drafts, or inbound auto-replies.
4. How we use information
We use collected information to provide, maintain, and improve the Service; authenticate users; process subscriptions; run map searches and enrichment; generate AI-assisted content you request; send and receive WhatsApp or email messages on your instructions; display inbox and campaign history; prevent abuse and fraud; comply with law; and communicate with you about the Service.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your WhatsApp message content to train public AI models unrelated to delivering the Service.
5. WhatsApp and Meta
If you connect WhatsApp, you authorize Leadar to access your WhatsApp Business assets through Meta's APIs on your behalf. Message sending and receiving is performed via the WhatsApp Cloud API. Meta may process message data according to Meta's terms and privacy policies.
WhatsApp conversation fees are billed by Meta directly to your WhatsApp Business account, not by Leadar. You are responsible for complying with WhatsApp Business and Meta platform policies, including obtaining appropriate consent before messaging contacts.
You can disconnect WhatsApp at any time in Settings → Channels, which removes our ability to send on your behalf and deletes stored connection credentials from your organization settings.
7. Retention and security
We retain information for as long as your organization uses the Service and as needed to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You may request deletion of your organization data by contacting us.
We use encryption for sensitive credentials (such as WhatsApp tokens), access controls, and industry-standard security practices. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
8. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or export personal information, or to object to certain processing. You may also withdraw consent where processing is consent-based.
To exercise these rights, email privacy@leadar-ai.com. We may need to verify your identity. If you are in the EEA, UK, or similar jurisdictions, you may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
9. International transfers
Leadar may process data in the United States and other countries where we or our subprocessors operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.
10. Changes and contact
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes may be notified through the Service or by email.
